Blogs And The Importance of Having One

Blogs are becoming more and more popular in the past couple years especially this past year.  Blogs also have a variety of users, everything from hobby bloggers to business owners.  So why is it so important to have a blog anyways?

In this article I will discuss and explore the importance of having a blog, whether you are a person making your presence on the Internet, or a business owner that is taking your business to the next level.

If you have a business then you more than likely have a store, shop, building, or some form of an office for your business.  People go to your business to see what you have to offer, talk with you, or just find out what you are all about.  A blog is like the online store for your business.

When people get in their cars and come to your business they can see what you have to offer and what you’re all about.  They can communicate with you to find out more information.  Well basically that is what a blog does, but for your online consumer market.  The difference is, instead of reaching hundreds to thousands of people in your immediate area, you can reach thousands to millions of potential customers online through your blog all over the globe.
Being able to reach thousands to millions of potential and interested customers is the number one reason to have a blog online.  Imagine how much you could exponentially grow your business, just by taking it to the next level and using a blog for your online presence.

Now I know that many people don’t know anything about a blog.  But it’s not all that hard to learn if you actually put a little effort in to learn what you need to know to properly maintain a blog.  Think about it for a minute.  How long did you train your self before you opened your own business?  How much did you learn after you opened your own business?  It is the same concept with a blog.  You just train your self to learn what you need to learn to have a successful blog.  Yes you can outsource some of it as many people do.  But instead of paying hundreds of dollars out, you could just learn what you need to know to do it yourself.  This way the money that you will make from having your blog will be all profit for the most part.

Besides it’s not really that hard.  You just advertise online similar to the way you would advertise in your own business if people were actually coming to a physical store, shop, or office.  Yes there are a few tricks and tactics used, but a lot of it is trial and error and learning what attracts your customers.  Just as you show people what you have to offer at a physical business, you show people what you have to offer on a blog.  You educate them and teach them what they need to know so they can make the proper decision and purchase your products or services.

Of course there is always a little more to it, but coming across that information is not that hard.  There are Groups, forums, other bloggers, and products that can help you along your blogging path at very nominal costs to you.  You can learn a lot just by talking to other experienced bloggers who have already gone through the learning process.

So if you consider weighing the amount of potential money your business could make by giving your business an online presence with your blog, it would outweigh the time and effort it would take to learn how to properly create and maintain your blog.  And just like everything else in life and business, you will continue to learn more as time goes on and you gain experience.

So if you want to take on learning how to create and build a blog yourself, then go to my friend Ty Tribble’s Blog Secrets here.  But if you feel that you either have no time or no skill to take on such a project, then visit my friend Sonny’s site for some information about outsourcing to him.

I hope this article helped you understand why it is so important to have a blog online.  Feel free to leave a comment, Retweet this article, or share it on Facebook.
